2023-11-29 00:00:00 LOD on the go – the official app for the Luxembourgish Online Dictionary The Lëtzebuerger Online Dictionnaire (LOD, https://lod.lu, www.lod.lu) is an official tool destined at documenting the Luxembourgish language. Its origins go back to 29 July 1999 and the Règlement grand-ducal portant création du Conseil permanent de la langue luxembourgeoise. The LOD is considered an orthographic reference conveying the meaning of common Luxembourgish expressions by means of translation elements in four different languages: German, French, English and Portuguese. The LOD can also be used as a writing assistance or translation tool.
